Ultra Premium Bordeaux Negociant is seeking an exclusiv US sales executive / Area Manager for the U.S market.
Borie Manoux is a well-known négociant in Bordeaux since 1870 , and the biggest Chateaux owner in the region (including 3 Grands Crus)
We have the capacity to offer Classified Growth of 1855, to supply Petits Chateaux, and to produce by ourself large volumes with our production site.
Our wide portfolio also include sparklings, BIB, 187ml to magnums and bigger sizes.
Job description
This person will be responsible for the US market development to achieve sales and profit goals.
- To Increase sales, depletions, and distribution with our regional and national distributors and importers key accounts. Sell the product range in assigned markets, ensuring the sustainability and growth of the portfolio.
- To find new accounts : Importers, distributors, wholesalers. And then working with them with the retailers. Finding private customers, members clubs, travel lines, country clubs. This includes regular sales calls at major trade customers, and working with retailers, and restaurateurs with and without the distributor’s sales representative, but it's the secondary activity)
- We need someone on the field to work daily on the ground ( market visits, finding new distributors, importers, directly placing new orders).
- Oriented mainly to the On trade ( OFF trade is a plus)
- Work as a team with members of the distributor sales force and trade marketing team including the Regional and National On & Off Premise teams to develop the company’s penetration in these channels
- Propose initiatives to enhance potential sales/promotions in the markets and assess the long-term growth potential of all product: having the network and the capacity to sell Grands Crus, Petits Chateaux, Entry level wines….
- Build relationships with both local buyers and distributor sales representatives. Training and education of the sales team
- Attends and executes all necessary General Sales meeting presentations and beneficial tradeshows, consumer facing activities and brand activation (e.g., Wine tastings, wine dinners, wine festivals)
- Capable to solve logistic and custom issues
- Managing the sales depletion of our importers.
- to reply to the Airlines Tenders
- Regular in and out-of-state travel
- Weekly report to the export manager and daily calls.
- Success will be measured in new customers, sales volumes with the current customers and new customers.
- Long term contract. Full time - The company partially takes in charge the Health insurance - Travels expense ( flights, trains, rental cars, gazoline, hotels, restaurants) and phone expenses are paid back by the company - Car allowance ( including gasoline expenses) - A computer is provided
